About the position

We are looking for a well-organized and ambitious person supporting us to facilitate the integration of our data into market available geoinformatics solutions. This encompasses the integration in different platform types (On-Premises, Cloud) as well as the connectivity to related systems via the defined interfaces.

The task requires to program small software tools, because in many cases the data to be handed over into the systems need to be adapted first. In some cases, market available tools do not provide the required performance so that small tools are required to facilitate the integration process.

Summary of the tasks

• Attendance to project and customer meetings.
• Analysis and post-processing of gathered data.
• Integration of data in existing platforms and software tools.
• Programming of software tools to improve and speed up the data post-processing.

Required qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science / Geomatics or relevant technigcal degree
• In-depth knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
• Strong programming skills (C/C++)
• Experience in Cloud Computing and Web-Programming highly desirable
• Team-player mentality
• Proven experience in the tasks that is expected to carry out (minimum 2 years).
• Knowledge in robotics and/or similar technology highly valuable
• Excellent English skills orally and written (B2 or higher)
• European driving license
• Willingness to travel internationally for short periods.
