About the position

Data gathered by robots require it representation into a 3D virtual environment. Robots are producing gigabytes of data per flight, that require to be treated and presented to the customers in an easy, user-friendly and inversive tool. The position is aimed to continue the existing data 3D representation platform to step it up to the next level.

Summary of the tasks

• Definition of 3D visualization requirements.
• Development of front-end interface: User interaction, 3D visualization platform, point cloud / texture integration, measurement tools, etc.
• Development of back-end computation Web engine: dynamic texture and point cloud loading, image projection, exchange data formats, etc.
• Integration of the 3D Web platform into the cloud-based data servers.
• Integration of the platform in hand-held devices such as mobile phones and tablets.

Required qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education in Computer Science or relevant technical degree.
• In-depth knowledge of requirements or systems engineering methodology
• Mandatory experience in fundamental math’s aimed to 3D reconstruction such as complex rotation matrices, image segregation and projections, etc.
• Proven experience in similar technologies aimed to 3D modelling, objects representation or gaming in Web based platforms (such us three.js, WebGL, BabylonJS, etc.).
• Implementation of the Web application (Java Script, HTML5, frameworks like IONIC or REACT).
• Proven experience in the tasks that is expected to carry out.
• Knowledge in robotics/drones and/or similar technology will be highly valuable.
• English skills orally and written (B2 or higher).
• European driving license.
• Willingness to travel national and internationally for short periods.
