We are looking for an exceptional female early years practitioner to take on the role of Lead Early Years Teacher in our start-up international school.
Age Range: 3 months to 5 years (Nursery & Pre-K)
We are looking for an exceptional female early years practitioner to take on the role of Lead Early Years Teacher in our start-up international school. This is primarily a teaching position with a reduced timetable, combined with responsibilities that support and guide the nursery and pre-K teams to ensure high-quality provision across the stage.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach across the early years stage (ages 3 months to 5 years) with a reduced teaching schedule.
Support and mentor nursery and pre-K teachers through collaborative planning, sharing strategies, and modeling best practice.
Help ensure the stage operates effectively, safely, and in line with our philosophy of providing a warm, caring, and stimulating environment.
Act as the first point of coverage for teacher absences to maintain quality standards.
Fulfill any duties required in the stage, including hygiene and care tasks, setting the tone for excellence and flexibility.
Report to the school’s Learning/IB Coordinator and work closely with the leadership team to align with the IB framework.
Requirements:
Female candidates only (due to cultural expectations for working with young children).
Significant experience and proven excellence in nursery and pre-kindergarten education.
Degree or professional qualification in Early Years Education (required for visa purposes).
Strong initiative, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a start-up school environment.
English proficiency for communication with staff and families.
Experience in the Middle East and/or multilingual environments valued; Arabic language skills a plus but not required.
